Types of biker patches
Biker patches are used partly as normal patches around 6 – 10 cm in size. They are round, square or can be any shape that suits the design. You can also calculate a price for patches like these directly online with the Price Calculator on our page about embroidered patches.
Then there are the large Back patches or cut patches. These are available up to a size of 31×31 cm (square) or 42.5 x 29.5 cm (rectangular). You can get large patches like these from us in small quantities and, if required, as one-offs. The price has to be worked out individually for these, though. Common designs on biker patches are motorcycles, of course, but also the skull, the devil, a club logo or various texts of your choice. There are often references to the West Coast, too.
Colours: the cut patch worn by motorcycle club members
One very special cut patch is the colours: a biker's identifier within a club. It is a kind of crest that shows everyone their club membership on the back of their vest. Bikers therefore use colours very often.
Strictly speaking, colours are not one patch but several belonging together: two curved pieces of lettering (the name on top and a place or country below) plus a logo framed by that lettering, which is then called the centre crest or centre patch. In addition, “MC” (the abbreviation for motorcycle club) is applied. For prospects who do not yet have full membership, the central logo is still missing from the vest.

Your motorcycle patch can be any shape and size. For protection it is finished with an all-round chain stitch edge or a laser-cut edge. You can choose the text you want, your own design and the base colour, the colours of your design or lettering, the border colour etc. of the patches entirely individually – as individual as you are as a biker (we also have special colours such as gold or silver metallic thread). An iron-on backing or hook-and-loop fastening is possible with biker patches too.
