Design your own patch featuring your chosen motif in any colours, shapes and sizes – high quality yet affordable. This could be a patch in a classic coat-of-arms shape or a badge with a completely customised border design. Patches in the shape of a jester’s cap, the Cologne skyline or the stylised outline of Cologne Cathedral are particularly popular with carnival groups from that city (and, of course, in Düsseldorf, Mainz and elsewhere).

Patches for the carnival season need to be colourful, creative and feature bright colours (which should remain just as vibrant even after washing). Design of Carnival Patches

You are completely free to choose the colours for your patches from a chart featuring over 250 possible threads that we can use in production (for embroidered patches – the number varies for woven or printed patches). Also Patches in gold, silver or bronze Special colours are available, which are particularly popular on patches during carnival season and add a touch of glitter and sparkle to the patches (only available for embroidered and woven patches, but not for printed ones).

Of course, the carnival patches are also available as iron-on patches (patches with an iron-on backing) or with Velcro on the back, making them easy to attach to costumes and other textiles.

Tip: Place your order in good time! Patches featuring your own design generally take around 4–5 weeks to produce and dispatch. The reason for this is that customised badges are not mass-produced items, but are made especially for you, which is why the delivery time is as stated. And even in the (significantly more expensive) Express Service you should allow at least 14 days for delivery.

Another tip: instead of attaching patches, you can also use items of clothing (e.g. shirts, T-shirts, tablecloths, ties, handkerchiefs, etc.) embroider directly to allow. We also offer Carnival medals and chains made of metal.
